I'm on summer holidays #vacation

After a year filled with new adventures, immense growth to our business and overwhelming success, we're taking a full ten days off and escaping to our summer oasis. We (just Mr. N and myself)need time to reconnect, relax, and pamper each other. No devices, no screens to look at, we're fully unplugging. 

I'll be back on July 29.

Today is June 21 and it is the Summer Solstice. 

What is the Summer Solstice? 

The summer solstice, also known as midsummer, occurs when one of the Earth's poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun. It happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere. For that hemisphere, the summer solstice is when the Sun reaches its highest position in the sky and is the day with the longest period of daylight. (Wikipedia)

It is a holiday celebrated around the world and in almost every culture. It's also one of my favorite times of the year. 

Summer brings a joyfulness, a freeing of one's spirit to bask in the sun and the outdoors. It's a time to grow flowers, herbs, vegetables and grains. It's time to dance, be free and fall in love. 

Whatever you do to celebrate summer, may it bring you unadulterated joy.
